Participants in a RingCentral webinar can raise their hands and share feedback, statuses, or feelings.
Note: Attendees cannot share and view nonverbal reactions during a webinar.
There are different types of nonverbal reactions:
Raise hand: Displays the hand icon to get the attention of the host, moderator, or presenter.
Feedback: Asks the host, moderator, or presenter to Slow down or Speed up. You can also react with Yes or No.
Status: Used by participants to indicate Be right back or Multitasking.
Feelings: Share feelings with an emoji. You can choose to send a thumbs up, applause, surprised, laughing, or sad emoji.
Note: The feelings notification or emojis will disappear after 10 seconds. To dismiss a raised hand or a feedback notification, click it a second time to lower it.
Sharing a nonverbal reaction during a webinar
During a webinar, click the Reactions button in the bottom toolbar.
You can share the following nonverbal reactions:
Raise hand: Display the hand icon to get the attention of the host, moderator, or speaker.
Feedback: Ask the speaker to Slow down or Speed up. You can also respond Yes or No to a question.
Status: Set your meeting status to Be right back or Multitasking.
Feelings: Share your feelings with an emoji. You can send a thumbs up, applause, surprise, laughing, or sad emoji.
To clear feedback or lower your hand, click the button a second time or wait for the host or cohost to dismiss the reaction.
Note: You can’t share a raise hand, feedback, and status all at once. Only your most recent nonverbal reaction will appear. However, emoji notifications will appear below your nonverbal reaction and disappear after 10 seconds.
Viewing participants who shared nonverbal reactions
You can see a list of the participants who have shared nonverbal reactions or raised their hands by clicking Participants in the bottom toolbar. Click an emoji reaction at the top to see the list of participants with the same reactions.
