Table of contents

During a RingCentral webinar, panelists can use nonverbal reactions to communicate with each other without disrupting the meeting.

Note: Attendees cannot share and view nonverbal reactions during a webinar.

There are different types of nonverbal reactions:
  • Raise hand: Displays the hand icon to get the attention of the host, moderator, or presenter.
  • Feedback: Asks the host, moderator, or presenter to Slow down or Speed up. You can also react with Yes or No
  • Status: Used by participants to indicate Be right back or Multitasking.
  • Feelings: Share feelings with an emoji. You can choose to send a thumbs up, applause, surprised, laughing, or sad emoji.
Note: Emojis disappear after 10 seconds. To dismiss a raised hand or a feedback notification, click it a second time.

Sharing a nonverbal reaction during a webinar

During a webinar, tap Reactions in the top menu, then choose a reaction.
Click Reactions icon
To clear feedback or lower your hand, click the button a second time, or wait for the host or cohost to dismiss your reaction.

Note: You can’t share a raise hand, feedback, and status all at once. Only your most recent nonverbal reaction will appear. However, emoji notifications will appear below your nonverbal reaction and disappear after 10 seconds.

Viewing participants who shared nonverbal reactions

To view participants’ emoji reactions, tap Participants in the bottom menu. Reactions appear below participants’ names. Tap any emoji reaction above the participant list to see the list of participants who have used that emoji.
