Users will be able to select their caller IDs for SMS on mobile, in addition to outbound calls.
Updated Navigation
Previously located in dedicated tabs, Text, and Fax will now be part of the Phone tab within the mobile app. In addition, users will be able to easily look up existing contacts and call them directly from the Phone tab.
Call to any extension
Users will be able to make outbound calls to extensions that aren’t listed in the company directly (e.g. call queues and IVRs).
Click to silent incoming calls
Similar to iOS, Android users will now be able to click any physical button to mute incoming calls.
Updated app version number
To better align with our quarterly release, our mobile app version number will be updated to follow the year.quarter.release format. Starting with the next release, 6.6 release will be renamed to 19.3.10.
Users can now filter messages within the Message tab (formerly Glip tab) to only show unread messages.

RingCentral App for desktop
New desktop navigation
The new desktop navigation will make it easier for users to access key features in the app, including messaging, calling, and video meetings.
Calendar integrations (Office365 and Google)
Users will be able to easily view and join upcoming meetings or schedule new meetings directly into O365 and Google Calendars right from the RingCentral app.*
The new calendar presence will reflect a user’s presence status as ‘busy’ (shown as a red dot next to your profile) when they have meetings scheduled on their calendar.*
The RingCentral Meetings experience will be integrated directly into the RingCentral App for desktop. The update comes with a new Meetings tab that lets users start, schedule, and join meetings from one place.*
On the RingCentral Rooms Controller, users will be able to start a microphone test to check if there are any audio issues before starting a meeting.
64-bit support
A 64-bit version of RingCentral Rooms will be available to offer the best usability on the latest versions of Mac OS.
Custom scheduling display
Users will now be able to upload their own images and branding to be shown on scheduling displays.
Meeting check-in
RingCentral Rooms check-in feature will help avoid confusion regarding conference room reservations. When this option is turned on, users must start the scheduled RingCentral meeting or check in to keep a room reservation.
Quick join third-party meetings
Meetings with external participants who use other meetings services such as Skype for Business, WebEx, or GoToMeeting will be able to join audio via a RingCentral Room with one click.
For admins who need to help their end-users resolve account lockout issues, this feature will help them unlock accounts without a password change.
Billing page enhancements
The new billing pages will make it much easier to find important billing information and enables users to drill down into specific details.
Email sync from user details to notifications basic settings
This feature will automatically sync the email from User Details to the Notifications Basic Settings email box. This means that users can receive voicemails, SMS, and other notifications without an admin having to manually change the data in multiple places.
Fax cover page callback number
This feature will enable users to customize the Phone Number (a.k.a. voice callback number) on the cover page of outbound faxes.
Admin portal UI update
We’re excited to announce a more modern and intuitive user interface in our admin portal that will provide a better user experience and accessibility support.
Admins will be able to access our real-time status site directly from the admin portal tool menu. In addition, admins will be able to sign any RingCentral user up for email and/or SMS notifications about service impacting issues.
New templates
An improved layout and user experience for templates will be rolled out, and new templates will be available.
We’ve combined the RingCentral for Google Calendar and Gmail applications into one G Suite Add-on, making it easier to access RingCentral calls, texts, and meetings in G Suite.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 now supports the Microsoft Channel Integration Framework which allows the use of RingCentral across all Dynamics 365 applications (Sales, Service, and more).
RingCentral for Canvas
This release offers the ability to schedule and join a RingCentral Video meeting in Canvas
RingCentral for Microsoft Teams
We’ve updated the RingCentral for Microsoft Teams integration to allow users to schedule RingCentral Video meetings and receive an auto-generated meeting password for added security within Teams.
Users will have the option to automatically block any incoming call that is labeled a “Suspected Robocall.”
Admin Portal Updates
In this release, updates will be made to the overall layout and navigation of the RingCentral Admin Portal. Updates include updated cascading menus, customizable tables, and more intuitive overall navigation.
RingCentral Conference Reset
As an added security measure, admins will be able to reset and regenerate conference host and participant codes for RingCentral audio conferences.
Spoofed Caller-ID Detection
RingCentral will soon have the ability to verify the authenticity of the Caller ID on inbound calls in order to cut down on robocalls with spoofed numbers.
