Paging a group in the RingCentral mobile app

Paging allows you to make real-time, one-way announcements over IP phones and overhead paging devices. You can send a page to a Paging-only group in your RingCentral Office account — that is, a collection of paging devices and/or desk phones that can receive paging calls. When you navigate to the Other tab in the Contacts interface, the paging group shows a profile picture that looks like a speaker.
In order to use this feature, your RingCentral Office account administrators must first create and set up a Paging-only group. To learn more about setting up a Paging-only group, visit How to Set Up Paging on the RingCentral Online Account.
Paging a group
To send a page to a group via the RingCentral mobile app, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Contacts via the bottom bar
2. Tap the Other tab
3. Select the paging group from the list
4. Tap the speaker icon under the group’s name
OR
Tap the speaker icon in the far right corner of the group’s extension field
5. Announce your message, then tap the red button to end the call
