Using Closed Captions in RingCentral Video mobile

RingCentral Video Closed Captions is designed to help participants with hearing-impairment, different levels of language proficiency, or for those who are joining from a noisy area. 
 
To get the best quality from Closed Captions:
  • Use a headset microphone
  • Pronounce words clearly
  • Speak slowly and evenly

Enabling Closed Captions

  1. Tap the More icon from within the meeting window.
  2. Tap Enable closed captions.

Once enabled, the conversation will display at the bottom of the meeting. All text will appear next to the speaker’s avatar. The text will disappear from the screen shortly after another person speaks. 

Disabling Closed Captions

  1. Tap the More icon from within the meeting window.
  2. Tap Disable closed captions.
