Starting a video call with a user or team on
RingCentral mobile app

You can start a video call in two ways:
  • by scheduling a meeting,
  • or by starting an instant meeting using the Start button via the Video menu. 
You can schedule or start a meeting at any time with a user, group, or team with just a tap of a button.
 
Note: Hosts and participants are permitted to have two meetings running simultaneously in the RingCentral app desktop and web. This applies to instant meetings or scheduled meetings. If a participant or host tries to join a third meeting session, the first attended meeting will automatically disconnect.

Starting an instant meeting via Message menu

1. Navigate to Message via the bottom menu bar.

2. Open a conversation for a user, group, or team.

  1. 3. Tap the video camera button at top right.

Starting an instant meeting via Contacts menu

1. Navigate to Contacts via the bottom menu bar.

  1. 2. Type in the name of a user, group, or team in the search bar at the top of the screen and select a contact.
