RingCentral Webinar FAQ

RingCentral Webinar makes it easy for hosts to schedule and manage webinars with a few clicks. Attendees can join from any desktop or mobile web browser without having to download anything.

Which type of questions do you have about RingCentral Webinar?

Plans and licenses

Can I purchase RingCentral Webinar as a stand-alone service?

No. It’s an add-on service to the RingEX Standard, Premium, and Ultimate plans.

How do RingCentral Webinar licenses work?

A license is required for each user who plans to schedule and manage webinars. Once you purchase licenses, you can assign them to users within the Admin Portal.
 
After you’re assigned a license, you’ll receive an email guiding you to access RingCentral Webinar using the RingCentral app on your desktop or web browser. When you sign in, you’ll see the Webinar icon in the left navigation bar.

Do I need RingCentral Webinar licenses for cohosts, panelists, or attendees?

No. Only for hosts.

Can multiple people share a RingCentral Webinar license?

No. However, as an admin, you can reassign a license from one user to another.

How do I delete a license?

Contact Customer Support to delete a license.

How many people can attend a RingCentral Webinar?

  • Depending on your license, a webinar can have either 100, 500, 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, or 10,000 participants.
  • Each webinar can have one host and up to 99 cohosts and panelists. Learn more about roles in RingCentral Webinar.
  • A host can schedule as many webinars as they’d like, but only three can run at the same time.

Are RingCentral Webinar and RingCentral Meetings Webinar the same?

No. RingCentral Webinar is a next-generation webinar experience. RingCentral Meetings Webinar is our legacy webinar offering.

Can I use RingCentral Webinar and RingCentral Meetings Webinar at the same time?

No. You can only use one of these at a time.

How do I use RingCentral Webinar if I’m currently using RingCentral Meetings Webinar?

An admin will need to switch your video provider from RingCentral Meetings to RingCentral Video. Learn more about using existing RingCentral Meetings Webinar licenses with RingCentral Webinar.

How can I report an issue?

  • To report an issue during a webinar, click More on the bottom toolbar and select Send Feedback
  • After the webinar, use the feedback form. Be sure to include the link that you used to join the webinar. 
  • Report an issue using the Resource Center.

How do I request a feature improvement or suggest a new feature?

During a webinar, you can send requests for feature improvements or new features by clicking More on the bottom toolbar and selecting Submit feature idea.

How do I join a RingCentral Webinar?

You can join a webinar as an attendee or panelist using the RingCentral mobile app, the RingCentral app for your desktop or web browser, or RingCentral Room.
