Joining webinar as cohost

RingCentral Webinar is a great way to present effectively to attendees. You can join a webinar as a cohost when the host designates you as one. You will receive an email invitation when the host invites you to join the webinar practice session or the actual webinar as a cohost. You can also join the webinar as a cohost using your RingCentral app.
Joining a webinar as a cohost via email
As a cohost, you can start or join the webinar at any time. Cohosts can join the webinar sometime before going live to attendees, giving them time to prep in private along with the host and panelists.
RingCentral Webinar makes it simple for hosts to guide cohosts and panelists to join such a prep session up to 1 hour before the actual webinar.
You can click Join as cohost in the invitation just before the webinar. You can also copy and paste the link into a web browser to join.
You can start or join a webinar in progress by clicking on the join button (or link) in your cohost calendar invite.
It is possible for the host to send you two separate invites: one to join as cohost and the other to join as an attendee. You may find yourself accidentally clicking on the attendee link.
RingCentral Webinar automatically detects that you are a cohost and prompts you to join with the right role. You will receive a reminder email in your email with the correct cohost join link, which you can join the webinar as the designated cohost.
Joining a webinar as a cohost using the RingCentral app
You can also join or start webinars from the Video section of the RingCentral app.
- Sign in to your RingCentral app.
- Go to Video > Meetings.
- Find the webinar in the list of upcoming meetings.
- Click Join.
