Starting a meeting in the RingCentral mobile app

When you start a meeting, you are designated the host. 
As the meeting host, you can:
  • have extended controls, including managing meeting settings and participants, 
  • start and stop the meeting recording, 
  • assign other hosts for the meeting,
  • end the meeting for all, and more.

1. Navigate to Video via the bottom menu bar, and then tap Start.

2. Tap Invite others to the meeting.

3. Choose how to invite participants:
Participant options
  • Invite contacts via video call: Enter the participant’s name in the To field, and then tap Add (iOs devices) or Next (Android devices).
  • Share link via other apps: Copy the meeting URL or directly send the link via other apps installed on your phone.
  • Invite via email: Send the meeting invite link by entering the participant’s email address or name via the email synced on your device. 
  • Invite via phone call: Directly call participant’s phone number. 
  • Participants: Tap Participants via the bottom menu bar, and then tap Invite people.
Note: If your audio is not yet connected to the meeting, you might be prompted to choose how to join the meeting audio. For more information, visit Joining RingCentral Video audio on mobile.
