Via the Audio Options 

Click the option beside the 
Mute/Unmute
, and then click 
Audio Settings...
.

QUICK TIP:
It is important to test your audio before starting or joining a meeting to prevent any in-meeting confusion and delays. If it your first time to start or join a RingCentral Meeting and you have not connected your audio yet, test your speaker and microphone first. You can click on
Test Speaker & Microphone...
from here to test your audio.

Via the Video Settings 

• Click the options beside the
Start/Stop Video
, and then click
Video Settings...
.

• You can also click
Choose a Virtual Background
to automatically select a background.

You will then be redirected to the
Video
section in the Settings window.

Via the Settings Menu  

Click
Settings
on the app.

This will then open Settings window to let you configure the following:

Options

You can check the boxes next to each setting that needs to be enabled.

NOTE:
Some
General
options are
OFF
by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Account Administrators can go to
Meetings
>
Meetings Settings
>
In Meeting (Basic)
and enable their preferred settings.

Audio

Test your Speaker and Microphone to ensure good quality for Meetings

Use the slider to adjust the volume levels as necessary.

If you have additional devices connected to your desktop, use the drop-down menus to choose which speakers and microphone you prefer to use for Meetings. 

NOTE:
Some
advanced Audio
options are
OFF
by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Account Administrators can go to
Meetings
>
Meetings Settings
>
In Meeting (Advanced)
and enable their preferred settings.

Video

See a preview of what your Video looks like to ensure good quality for Meetings.

Use the drop-down menu to choose which webcam you prefer to use if you have more than one connected to your computer.

Virtual Background

This setting allows you adding virtual background with a company's logo or a background image. This requires a physical green or blue screen.

NOTE:
This feature is
OFF
by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Account Administrators can go to
Meetings
>
Meetings Settings
>
In Meeting (Advanced)
and enable 
Virtual background
. If you want to use this feature, make sure this feature is
ON
in your online account before a meeting. In your online account, click 
Settings
>
Meetings
> toggle switch on the
In Meeting (Advanced)
section to enable 
Virtual background
. Once an option is enabled, Hosts and Participants can find the additional Video Background settings in the Meetings for Desktop.

Recording

This setting allows you to specify the location where recordings are saved.

Click
Change File Location
to change the default location or
Open
to see the location of your recorded meetings.

NOTE:
Ticking the
Choose a location for recorded files when meeting ends
checkbox will let RingCentral Meetings ask you where to save your recorded meeting every your meeting ends.

This section shows the available Keyboard Shortcuts.

Check
Always show meeting controls
if you prefer these controls to be visible all the time. 

NOTE:
You can use the
Alt
key to show/hide meeting controls when
Always show meeting controls
is enabled.
