Engage Voice | Agent scripting elements: Text Block

Use this element to insert blocks of text, links, and dynamic tagged data into your script. With tagged data, you can create dynamic scripts that update key information as agents communicate with customers.
This article discusses settings and features that are specific to the Text Block element. Check out Editing Page elements: the basics for more information on basic element settings, and Adjusting elements on a script page for element adjustment.


The following options, available in the Text Block element’s Configuration tab, allow you to choose your text formatting settings:
  • Content: Use this box and the settings within it to enter and format your text. Settings include typical text editor formatting options such as font type, color, headings, bulleted and numbered lists, and more
  • {{add a tag}}: Click this option, located at far right above the text box, to see a list of tags you can choose from to create a dynamic data field in your script
