Creator Lab enhancements

Creator Lab is now generally available for RingCentral Events customers (for customers plans listed above), along with new updates planned to further simplify content repurposing post-event.

  • One tab for content repurposing: Creator Lab will now be moved inside the Recording/Video editor, ensuring that all video editing and content repurposing can be done without having to switch between tabs.
  • Content Composer: Creator Lab will now have a new content composer icon located on the right, which is now the starting point to generate social media posts, blogs, emails, and more. Once a particular content is generated, a separate icon will be added underneath the Content Composer icon.
  • Recordings control: Organizers and moderators now have the ability to manually pause, and resume recordings directly within Studio and regular sessions, providing greater flexibility over what content is captured.
  • Studio sessions: A new control for pausing & resuming recordings is now available, next to the Start/End Broadcast button within Studio. Note that recordings are still triggered by when the broadcast starts and ends.
  • Moderated sessions: Within the Edit Session page, a new “Manual” setting allows the recording to start only when the organizer desires. Meanwhile, when “Auto” is selected, recordings will continue to trigger once the first participant comes on stage. In both cases, new pause & resume controls will also be available to organizers and moderators once the recording has started.
  • Simpler join flow for SSO event attendees
SSO is available for Events Pro+ and Enterprise plans

For events with single sign-on (SSO) and no paid tickets, attendees will be redirected directly inside the event after logging in. Previously, they were taken to the registration page and needed to go through the registration process.
  • UI updates & changes
We’re making updates to the RingCentral Events UI to ensure a more seamless organizer and event experience!
  • The pop-up Schedule will now have the same design as the Schedule from Reception page, for more consistency in look and feel no matter where you view it from.
