Release date: October 5, 2025
Global expansion
AIR launched in Australia: This release expands AIR availability to Australia, allowing businesses to provide 24/7 call handling, support natural-language conversations in Australian English, and transfer calls based on the caller’s needs.
What's New
Contextual transfer: When AIR transfers a call, the receiving user now sees a summary of the caller’s interaction, including the reason for the call, keywords, and context, to help them prepare before answering. This feature is available on the RingCentral desktop app.
Lead capture: AIR can now collect caller information, such as name, phone number, and responses to customized questions, before transferring the call to a human agent. When AIR is connected to a CRM, like Salesforce, it automatically creates or updates lead records using the responses.
External PBX integration: AIR now supports direct SIP integration with existing PBX systems, enabling on-premises, cloud, or hybrid deployments without hardware replacement. This allows enterprises, franchises, and small businesses to route calls, use AI-powered call handling, and simplify call management.
Bug fixes
Improved latency: AIR responds faster to caller inputs and routing actions, with reduced latency for smoother call handling, and a more responsive experience for both callers and admins.
