Upgrading RingCentral Video Pro to RingEX

With RingCentral Video Pro, you can use the Message and Video features to collaborate with your co-workers and attend video meetings. However, in order to activate phone features to receive and make calls with co-workers, you’ll need to upgrade to RingEX. 

With RingEX, you can have access to all the same features as RingCentral Video Pro and Pro+, as well as the following phone features:
  • Receive and make calls
  • Make and access call recordings
  • Access and listen to voicemails
  • Send and receive faxes
  • Send and receive text/business SMS (US and Canada only)
  • Access to advanced call controls
  • Manage call queues and routing
  • Set up auto-attendant and IVRs
  • We don’t offer the ability to upgrade a RingCentral Video Pro+ account to RingEX. 
  • A RingCentral Video Pro account can only be upgraded to RingEX from the web or desktop app. Upgrade is not available currently on the mobile app.

Upgrading your RingCentral Video Pro account to RingEX

1. Navigate to Phone via the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Click Upgrade Now.
3. On the page that opens, click RingEX.
4. Choose between RingEX Standard or RingEX Premium and click Select on your desired plan.
5. Choose how many users you want to upgrade. The maximum number of users you can upgrade is the number of users you currently have in your account.
6. Click the toggle to change your billing plan to Monthly or Annual
7. Click Next.
8. Enter your payment info.
9. Choose your Company Main Number. Check the box for I already have a company number if you want to transfer your current company local US number and toll free numbers to RingCentral.
10. Check the box to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice.
11. Click Complete Purchase
