Managing panelists’ audio and video

Panelists have the ability to share their video, mute or unmute their audio, and share screens during a webinar. The host can configure these settings during webinar creation and have the ability to change those settings once in a session. Cohosts can also manage and control the audio and video during a webinar for their panelists. Hosts and cohosts can mute or unmute panelists’ audio, turn videos on and off, and allow or disallow them to screen share.

Muting or unmuting audio

Hosts and cohosts can mute and unmute the audio of all panelists. They can also request to mute or unmute individual panelists.

  1. During a webinar, click Participants.
  2. Click the muted microphone icon on the top bar to mute cohosts and panelists.

  1. Click the microphone icon on the top bar to request panelists to unmute their audio.

  1. During a webinar, click Participants.
  2. Click the microphone icon beside the panelist’s name that you want to mute or unmute.

Asking to turn on or off video

Hosts and cohosts can request to turn on or off the video of all panelists. They can also request to turn on or off the video of each panelist.

  1. During a webinar, click Participants.
  2. Click the More icon on the top bar.
  3. Click Turn off all videos to disallow all videos of panelists.

  1. During a webinar, click Participants.
  2. Click the video icon beside the panelist's name that you want to request to turn on or off the video.

Allowing or disallowing screen-sharing

Only hosts and cohosts can screen share content during a webinar by default. They can also allow panelists to share their screens if they want to.
  1. During a webinar, click Participants.
  2. Click the More icon on the top bar. 
  3. Select Host, cohosts, and panelists under Allow screen-sharing.
