Scheduling a webinar

Users with a RingCentral Webinar license can schedule and become the host of a webinar.

Scheduling a webinar without registration via the RingCentral app desktop and web

  1. Go to Webinar via the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Create Webinar.

  1. Enter the name of the webinar.
  2. Set the date, time, and max duration of the webinar. By default, the webinar date and time are set to the next Thursday at 11:00 AM in your time zone. 
  3. Select a time zone.
  4. Add a webinar prep session. The options include None, 15 mins, 30 mins, and 1 hour. You can set up a webinar prep session if you want to meet with your cohosts and panelists before the webinar.
  5. Click Create.

Webinar cards

Once you’ve scheduled a webinar, you will be redirected to the webinar details page. Here, you can edit the date and time of the webinar, invite cohosts, panelists, and attendees, and configure your webinar settings.

Date and time

This is where you can edit your webinar's date, time, and duration. You can also change the timezone and webinar prep session option. To learn more, go to Configuring webinar scheduling settings.

Hosts & panelists

You can invite cohosts and panelists to this card. When inviting panelists, you have the option to import a list of panelists. For more info, go to Inviting cohosts and panelists.

Attendees

This is where you can invite attendees using Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. To learn more, go to Inviting attendees.
 
You can also hover over the icons at the top right of the Attendees card to copy the attendee join link and preview the invite. Click Download invitation to download the invite in a .ics file that you can import into any calendar app on this card.

Webinar settings

This is where you can manage your webinar settings, including security settings, webinar room settings, and interaction settings.
