Why can’t I resend a panelist invite to myself after changing my email?

When a webinar panelist attempts to join the webinar after changing their account’s email address, they will get the option to resend the invite to their email. However, upon clicking the Resend panelist invite button, the error “Sorry, something went wrong. Please resend the email.” displays.

A RingCentral Webinar panelist or cohost cannot join a webinar if the email address associated with their account changes in the time period between the webinar being scheduled and the webinar being started.


The webinar host can reinvite the panelist who cannot join the webinar via the webinar dashboard in the RingCentral app. The webinar host can do this at any time, even after the webinar has begun. Visit Managing invitations to learn more about re-inviting panelists.
