Why doesn’t the RingCentral Scheduler add-in install on On-Premise Exchange 2013?

When installing the add-in for On-Premise Exchange 2013, you might encounter the following error: “This app isn’t supported by the version of Exchange Server that your account connects to.”

To resolve this issue, you need to update On-Premise Exchange 2013 to the latest version. You can find the file here.

Why doesn’t the RingCentral Scheduler add-in install on On-Premise Exchange 2016?

When installing the add-in for On-Premise Exchange 2013, you might encounter the following error: “The app couldn’t be downloaded.” This may be because the .NET Client doesn’t support TLS 1.2 by default.

To check if this is a TLS issue, run the following in PowerShell: Invoke-WebRequest https://appsource.microsoft.com/
If you see the following error, you should enable TLS 1.2 support for .NET.

Why can’t I sign in to RingCentral using Internet Explorer?

When you use Internet Explorer as your browser, you might encounter sign-in errors.

To resolve this issue, you need to add domains to your trusted domains list.

Adding domains to your trusted domains list

  1. Click Tools on the top-right corner of your Internet Explorer window.
  2. Select Internet options.
  3. Click Security, and then select Trusted sites.
  4. Click Sites.
  5. Add the following:
    1. https://apps.ringcentral.com/
    2. https://api-rcapps.ringcentral.biz/
