  • Call to Video
    • Start from a 1:1 or multi-party phone call and quickly switch to a video meeting or screenshare with a single tap. (Requires RingCentral Video)
  • Cloud Contacts
    • Stay connected to all of your contacts by syncing your RingCentral, Microsoft, and Google accounts.
  • Transfer calls while on hold
    • Transfer a call while the call is on hold.
  • RingCentral Meetings security enhancements
    • RingCentral Meetings app now respects the company admins preset meeting settings such as making passwords required for all meetings.
  • Enhanced outbound Caller ID
    • Forwarded number, forwarded company number, and contact center number are now available in the Caller ID list when making outbound calls.

We’re excited to announce our new RingCentral desktop app. It has been re-built with a modern design, enhanced search capabilities, improved speed, and so much more. 
You’ll be able to find the same key functionalities that you are used to in the old desktop app here plus more new features in future releases.
