Call handling
Company call handling consolidation: Company call handling settings are now grouped under Company in the Admin Portal, consolidating what was previously split between Company Info and Auto-Receptionist. Admins can toggle between the previous and new layout until late 2026.

Placeholder number deletion warning: The number porting flow now warns admins that placeholder numbers will be permanently removed from the account when porting completes. Admins can choose to Purchase Additional Local Number licenses to keep the placeholder numbers.
Global
Switzerland short code and Chile emergency service number: Users can now dial short code 142 in Switzerland and emergency service number 131 in Chile. Both codes are automatically available in the dial plan.
Global RingEX Select India Limited Extension availability: Limited Extensions are now turned on by default for all Global RingEX Select India package tiers, removing the need to contact Support to enable this feature.
Domestic SMS in Australia (GA):
Australian users can now send and receive domestic SMS.
Admins can assign SMS-capable DigitalLine licenses and mobile numbers when adding users.
SMS bundles and Business SMS Booster licenses are also now available for purchase.
Routing to BYOC CCRN numbers: Calls to a Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) Contact Center Routing Number (CCRN) are now routed using the PSTN, so customers can run their own PBX IVR before the call reaches RingCentral.
