Engage Voice | Understanding campaign list logs

Whenever you make a major change (‘change event’) to a lead list, you’ll be able to see a log — that is, details about that change event — via your campaign list logs. Change events typically include lead and list uploads, moves, and merges, whether these events were performed via the admin UI or via API.

List logs are displayed in table format and can be found by selecting a campaign and navigating to the List Logs option via the campaign’s configuration panel. The table will contain a separate log (row) for each change event, with an indication of the type of change that was performed upon the list. Each event will also display a description field indicating which list was changed.

List logs contain the following information:
  • Date: The date and time the change was made
  • Event: A record of the change that was made. Possible change events include the following:
    • UI_LOAD: A list was loaded via the UI
    • API_LOAD: A list was loaded via the list load API
    • LEAD_MOVE: A lead was moved from one lead list to another (please note that for this type of change event, the Description column will specify which list the lead was moved to, but not which list it came from)
    • LEAD_COPY: A lead was copied from one list to another (please note that for this type of change event, the Description column will specify which list the lead was moved to, but not which list it came from)
    • LIST_MOVE: A list was moved into a different campaign (see the Description column for information on which list was moved and which campaigns were affected)
    • LIST_MERGE: A list was merged into an existing lead list (see the Description column for information on which list was merged and which campaigns were affected)
  • Timezone Opt.: The method you chose to indicate lead timezone during lead list upload. Methods include the following:
    • NPA_NXX: This indicates that the lead’s timezone was set based on NPA and NXX results (default)
    • ZIPCODE: This indicates that you set the lead timezone based on the lead’s zip code
    • EXPLICIT: This indicates that you manually set the lead’s timezone, whether via a timezone code or custom dial plan code
    • NOT_APPLICABLE: This indicates a list was moved/merged from one campaign to another and no timezone action was taken. Please note that no timezone actions can be taken during the move/merge list process. Upon list move/merge, the system will retain whatever timezone selection you chose during the lead list file upload process
  • Description: The description of the lead list that was changed. If the change could not be performed, this field will contain a description of the attempted change action
  • Supplied: The number of leads that were supplied in the uploaded list file
  • Inserted: The number of leads that were actually inserted into the system
  • Do Not Call: The number of leads removed due to DNC scrubbing
  • Whitelist: The number of leads that were whitelisted
  • User: The name of the user that made the change
This information can be filtered by the following fields: Event, Timezone Opt, Description, and User. Simply begin typing in the search box provided beneath each column name and your results will automatically begin filtering.

If you have a large number of list logs, feel free to modify the page layout viewing settings located in the lower left-hand corner of the window.
