Unable to access the webinar recording link shared via email

You are unable to access a webinar recording shared with you via email (outside of the RingCentral app).

Resolution

Verifying that the webinar recording is still available

After clicking the webinar recording link, you get the message, “Sorry, this recording is no longer available.” This message is generated if the webinar host has deleted the recording.
 
If this happens, contact the webinar host to ask if they can share with you an offline version of the recording.

Signing in with your RingCentral credentials

After clicking the shared webinar recording link, you are redirected to the sign-in page. This redirect occurs if the webinar host has configured recording so that it may be viewed only by signed-in users or by users within the same company as the webinar’s host.
 
If the webinar recording is locked for signed-in users or company employees, and you don’t have the RingCentral app installed on your device, you will need to sign in to your RingCentral account to open and play the recording from your browser.
  1. Click the shared recording link in your email, or copy and paste the link into your browser. 
  2. Click Cancel when prompted to open the RingCentral app, then click View the recording from your browser.
  3. Sign in with your RingCentral account.
  4. Play the recording. Learn more about viewing webinar recordings.

Checking your network connection

When you open or play the webinar recording link, it fails to load. This can happen if your network quality is poor.

Make sure that your network connection meets the minimum requirements outlined by RingCentral Webinar’s network requirements.

Verifying and updating your RingCentral app

If you have the RingCentral app installed on your device, you can use it to play the webinar recording directly.
  1. Click the shared recording link in your email, or copy and paste the link into your browser. 
  2. Click Open RingCentral when prompted.
  3. Play the webinar recording. Learn more about viewing webinar recordings.
If you’re using an older version of the RingCentral app, the webinar recording may not open. Be sure to update to the latest version of the RingCentral app.
