What is RingCentral Webinar?

A webinar is a web-based seminar that can broadcast information to a large audience in real time. RingCentral Webinar is a next-generation product that makes it simple to:
  • Organize, manage, and record webinars using the RingCentral desktop app.
  • Include up to 100 cohosts and panelists, and reach up to 10,000 attendees. 
  • Organize and run webinars using the RingCentral desktop app.
  • Use RingCentral apps to join the webinar on any device or browser without downloading anything.
  • Share audio, video, and screens.

Why should I use RingCentral Webinar?

RingCentral Webinar makes it easy for hosts to schedule and manage webinars with just a few clicks in the RingCentral app. Attendees can join a RingCentral Webinar from any desktop or mobile browser without having to download the RingCentral app.

Is RingCentral Webinar available?

RingCentral Webinar is currently in Beta. Request Beta access.

Are RingCentral Webinar and RingCentral Meetings Webinar the same?

No. RingCentral Webinar is a next-generation webinar experience, accessible via the RingCentral app.RingCentral Meetings Webinar is our legacy webinar product, accessible via the RingCentral Meetings app.

Can I use RingCentral Webinar and RingCentral Meetings Webinar simultaneously?

No. You can only use one of these products at a time. Your company admin will configure your product access.

How do I use RingCentral Webinar if I am currently using RingCentral Meetings Webinar?

As an admin, you’ll need to switch your users’ video provider from RingCentral Meetings to RingCentral Video. Learn more about using existing RingCentral Meetings Webinar licenses with RingCentral Webinar.
 
If you are a user with no admin privileges, contact your admin about switching your video provider from RingCentral Meetings to RingCentral Video.

How do I purchase RingCentral Webinar for my employees?

RingCentral Webinar is currently in Beta testing and can’t be purchased yet. Request Beta access.

Can I purchase RingCentral Webinar as a stand-alone service?

No. RingCentral Webinar is an add-on service to the RingEX Standard, Premium, and Ultimate plans.

Which RingEX plans support RingCentral Webinar?

All RingEX Plans, except Essentials, support RingCentral Webinar.

How do RingCentral Webinar licenses work?

Licenses are required for every user who plans to schedule and manage webinars. Once you obtain licenses, you can assign users within the Admin Portal.
 
After assigning a license, you’ll receive an email guiding you to access RingCentral Webinar using your RingCentral desktop app. When you sign in to your app, you’ll see the Webinar icon in the left-hand navigation.

Do I need RingCentral Webinar licenses for cohosts, panelists, or attendees?

No. Only hosts require RingCentral Webinar licenses.

Can multiple people share a RingCentral Webinar license?

No. However, as an admin, you can reassign a license from one user to another.

How do I delete a license?

Contact RingCentral Support to have a license deleted.

What are the attendance limits for RingCentral Webinar?

  • Each webinar can have one host and up to 99 cohosts and panelists. 
  • A Webinar’s maximum attendance is determined by your license. License options include attendance maximums of 100, 500, 1000, 3000, 5000, or 10,000 seats.
  • A Webinar host can schedule an unlimited number of webinars, but only three can run simultaneously.

Once you have a license, you’ll receive an email guiding you to access RingCentral Webinar using your RingCentral desktop app. When you sign in to your app, you’ll see the Webinar icon in the left-hand navigation. Learn more.

How do I get help using RingCentral Webinar?

There are several ways to get help with RingCentral Webinar.

How can I report an issue?

  • To report an issue during a webinar, click on More > Send Feedback
  • After the webinar, use the feedback form. Be sure to include the link that you used to join the webinar. 
  • Report an issue via the Resource Center in the RingCentral desktop, web, and mobile apps.

How do I request a feature improvement or suggest a new feature?

During a webinar, you can submit feature improvements or new feature requests by clicking More > Submit feature idea to open the Customer Ideas Portal.
