RingCentral desktop app and web app

  • PCI Pal Integration: This solution provides businesses that collect payments "over the phone" while recording those calls; Agents can initiate a secure payment session from the DT/Web application.

Call Handling

  • Call queue and site call handling templates allow admins to create custom rules in bulk for updating incoming call routing during company holidays and special events.

Global

  • Emergency address verification improvements for the UK: Informatica is used to validate the input address before accepting and saving the information

Admin

  • We have introduced KYC (know your customer) to non-RC UK brands.
  • Admins can now copy caller ID settings in copy and assign flow
  • When the account is utilizing sites and the new user is assigned to a role that supports role domains, when user admins who do not have the Roles permission.
    • Create new users or copy and assign users, the role domain for the new user will default to match the new user's site. 
    • Reset and assign extensions, they will have the option of retaining the current role and role domain assignment for the extension, or resetting the role to be the account default role and the role domain to the new assigned user's site. 
  • Nomadic 911 Support on Mitel 6900, 6900w, & 6800 series phones

  • Dial-Plans and BYOC available in the following countries:

RingCentral Events

Release date: December 9, 2024

  • AI Clips Editor: Save time from manually doing post-event cutdowns and increase the ROI from your events! Leverage AI to automatically create the best highlights/moments from your event (30s - 3min clips). You can manually review the AI-recommended clips, then easily export them for your social media campaigns.
  • Sessions 1080p video capture: Default video quality will now be set at 1080p, and will be automatically downgraded if speakers have bad connectivity, cameras do not support 1080p, or when more than 1 speaker is on screen (since the screenspace will be shared).  
  • Replay for Onsite & Attendee App: The Replay/Recordings section is now available for onsite events! Organizers can upload their session recordings and make them available on the RCE Attendee app. Attendees can now watch session replays directly from their mobile device.
  • Marketo App Integration - Create Registrants
    Note: this will be rolled out to all organizers by the end of month.

    Organizers that use Marketo forms to register people to their RingCentral Events will now see those registrants pass through to RCE as Registrants, instead of Invitees. Registrants with no RingCentral Events account tied to the email will receive a confirmation email that an account has been created for them (which also includes the details of how to remove that account).
  • Add metadata in Create Registrant API request: Customers using RCE's external API can now send metadata in the Create Registrant API request. The older endpoint for creating magic links already provides this functionality.

RingSense for RingCX

Release date: December 2024

  • Automated Scorecards - Summary: View concise explanations for why the AI answered Yes or No on scorecard questions, enabling faster review without call playback
  • Multi-manager Support
    • Allow users to have more than one manager that can review calls, provide feedback, fill out scorecards, etc.
    • Show author of who performed a certain task
    • Fix the number roll ups under Coaching → Team performance grid
  • Custom Call Type Definition: Admins can now request to define custom call types for their organization, moving beyond the standard call type library to match their unique business needs.
  • Support for calls in German: Calls in German are now fully processed with transcriptions and insights displayed in German, enabling native language analysis.
  • Integrations Setup Usability Improvements: Improved UI and user experience for admins to configure and setup integrations in RingSense.
  • EU Data Residency: New RingSense environment deployed in Germany, enabling regional data processing and storage.
